AI in Environmental Health: Navigating the Readiness Spectrum for a Smarter Future
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer a distant innovation—it is already embedded in the way we work, live, and interact with our environments. From predictive analytics to real-time translation, AI is reshaping operations across industries, including ÂÜÀòÊÓƵ health. Yet, within organizations, staff readiness ranges from enthusiastic early adopters to skeptical holdouts. In this session, NEHA’s Chief Operating Officer Kelsey Lyon and HSGovTech’s Executive Director of Growth and Operations Cameron Garrison explore the current state of AI adoption, its implications for the ÂÜÀòÊÓƵ health workforce, and how leaders can strategically guide their teams through this technological shift. Participants will learn practical steps for assessing organizational readiness, developing AI policies, identifying AI-enhanceable processes, and ensuring equitable adoption across all levels of AI fluency.
Wednesday July 16, 9:00 am - 9:50 am Phoenix, Arizona at Room - West 103AB
