In this seminar, leading vector experts, Dr. Erin Cloherty, entomologist with the City of New Orleans Mosquito, Termite & Rodent Control Board and a NEHA Vector Program Committee Member, John Townsend, Vector Control Division Manager at Maricopa County Environmental Services, and Dr. Ryan Hemme, entomologist with the Dengue Branch of the Division of Vector-borne Diseases at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, provide a comprehensive look at the current upsurge in dengue cases in the United States, a review of the 2022 dengue outbreak in Arizona, and offer best practices for protecting public health against dengue virus.
